We are currently looking for a SQL- Server DBA to join our IT team. For a professional who thrives on challenge and seeking a SQL- Server DBA position, this might be the rewarding career move you have been looking for.
This is a contract or full time opportunity, located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Job Summary:
- Build custom manufacturing tables to help create better efficiencies to hook into JDE manufacturing.
- Invoicing-packing slip systems
- Back-up and recovery, database optimization
- Write SQL queries and stored procedures on T-SQL database
- Work with team to create better efficiencies of client warehousing data within pick, pack, ship industry.
- May also be helping to bring on a data warehouse system
- Document status
- Write projects and update reports to management and executives
- Perform routing database maintenance, for example:
- Table re- indexing, reorganize, and update stats, recompiling stored procedures, configuring SQL-server platform and hardware for optimal security & performance.
Skills / Requirements:
- Must have excellent shipping-receiving / manufacturing knowledge
- Manufacturing background within JDE or other ERP systems preferred
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Take charge attitude
- Midlevel DBA skills
- Data warehouse knowledge a plus with B-objects- a plus
- Has done a lot of T-SQL development and can work some off hours occasionally
