KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Senior level knowledge skills and abilities are required for this position; Knowledge of; IT concepts and terminology; principles and practices of project management and supervisory techniques; Skills in: conceptualization, design and modification of automation projects, problem identification, analyses, formulation of alternatives and making recommendations. The ability to: assess impacts of proposed automation projects; supervise planning of project tasks; Skills and abilities; to effectively manage and direct staff in their daily activities; in the Java or .NET environment. Communication skills and abilities to express technical information in oral and written form to technical and non-technical personnel to include chart, graphs, and visual overhead images; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Relationships include the cross divisional, and agency program staff, agency senior management, as well as staff and management of other governmental and private sector entities; to understand integration of hardware and software components to effectively analyze, evaluate, draw logical conclusions and solve complex application development problems; related to Object Oriented Analysis and Design; with standardized application development methodologies.
